With two weeks' notice. The booth can be vinyl, a controller or CDJs: any of the three keeps the set running.

Minimum rider

• Vinyl

  Two Technics from the SL-1200 family: MK2, MK3, MK5, M3D or the direct equivalent. With a cartridge and a mixer that has a phono input.

• Controller

  Any computer controller that works with Rekordbox. Pioneer DDJ, an XDJ in controller mode, or another that exports and reads that software.

• CDJ

  Any CDJ. It is played from CD and USB. Ideally they read Rekordbox, such as the CDJ-2000, CDJ-3000 or XDJ.

Sound that can be hired

If the venue has no sound, this kit can be quoted. It covers a small or medium room. A larger crowd or room is discussed first.

• 2 active VMR Audio 12" cabinets, 1000 RMS
• 1 active Audiolab TA-15 cabinet, 1000 RMS
• 1 active 15" K-ACOUSTIC K-PRO 15B sub
• 1 Audiolab TA-212A subwoofer
• 4-channel Behringer mixer and an analogue microphone
• 2 PAR LEDs, with cables
