Miguel Gutiérrezaka Dj Junglesoul
Chilean, from Santiago. One of the steady voices of drum & bass here, with more than 17 years pushing labels, crews and nights that do not stay in the capital.
It started around 15, when jungle appeared and then drum & bass. The first public contributions were notes for Rewind!, in mid-2006. He played school parties and built his own events. By the end of 2008 that practice was already in the local parties.
The sound moves between drum & bass and jungle classics, through footwork, and opens into dubstep, UK garage, future garage, hip hop and trip hop. In Organika the arc of the night is different: tech house to enter, garage, minimal, eurodance, and jungle towards the morning. Order By Date is the alias for when that selection leaves the 170 BPM box.
With Dj Frantik he runs Shidzen Music, a label with an international reach. With Frantik and Dj Drumblack he holds Junglist CL, now Step Up: community, radio, podcast and the party as a tool, not as the only aim. The collective's invitation is the same: leave the ego outside and put infrastructure at the scene's disposal.

Rewind!
First notes for the capital's party site. Jungle first, drum & bass after. The booth already came from school parties.
2008
The local scene
By the end of that year drum & bass stopped being only listening and moved into the parties in Santiago.
2012
Bluster Records
First independent label. That same year Organika sessions were already circulating, with booths alongside Marabuntaz, Mauribeats and Willy Wonka.
2014
Shidzen Music
Label with Dj Frantik. More than 35 releases and 165 tracks, with people from Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, Spain, England, France and Australia.
2020
Junglist CL / Step Up
A collective with Frantik and Drumblack to put Chilean drum & bass back in circulation: parties, radio, podcast and shared infrastructure.
2021
Huaka Mahuiza
A tour operator in Curarrehue, La Araucanía. The south stops being only a tour date.
2024–26
The route continues
Buenos Aires (+160, Palermo) and DnB Nights in Pinheiros, April 2024. Lanín in 2025. Bass Connection in Mauá and the São Paulo archive again in 2026.
